Following Sunday Service January 31 will be "Soup" Sunday in the Education Building. All members are welcome to this great time of fellowship along with the soup. Members are asked to bring their favorite soup in a container that can be brought home afterwards.

The Evening Circle's Holly Days Crafts Bazaar and Luncheon will take place on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9am - 3pm. The Evening Circle will sell homemade soups and sandwiches for lunch, and the daytime UMW will sponsor a bake sale. These group will not be working on crafts to sell at a church table, but they will rent spaces to local crafters and vendors, who are sure to bring a wide variety of items to sell.
This is great opportunity to get an early start on your holiday shopping! We usually have a wide assortment of handmade items, including jewelry, candles, ornaments, linens, ceramics, and gift baskets. So, mark your calendars now, and plan on joining us for an early start to the holidays on November 21! Plan to join us for an early start on your holiday shopping!
If you would like to participate as a crafter or vendor, please call Tammy at 301-253-0044 to request an application and additional information. If you just need additional directions to the church, you can call our church secretary, Mary, at 301-253-2894 during our regular office hours weekdays from 9 am to 1 pm.

The UMW are taking reservations for their Annual Christmas Luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 9th at the Barbara Fritchie Restaurant in Frederick. Everyone in the church is welcome to attend! Serving time is 12:30 pm, and the price is $19 per person. This year, they have a choice of three entrees: Roasted Turkey, Sugar Cured Ham, or Fried Chicken. All meals include salad, vegetables, dessert, and a beverage. Please contact Mary Jane Walter (301-972-3089) or Louise Burdette (301-253-3828) by November 24th if you plan to attend. Please let them know your choice of entree and whether you will need a ride. Checks should be made payable to Louise Burdette.
Our UMW will once again be giving Christmas gifts to the Asbury Guild. Please have them in the box marked Asbury by December 6. Checks should be made payable to the Asbury Guild. Here is the list of requested gifts...
