Sunday School at Wesley Grove UMC |
Children's Sunday School - Meets every Sunday moring, 9:30-10:30 in the Education Building, from Labor Day through Father's Day. All Children aged 3-18 are welcome. Each class begins with a 10-15 minute chapel time, then students move to classrooms for 45-50 minutes of lessons.Currently, there are two classes - one for elementary school aged kids and one for middle and high school youth.
The young people are taught using the curriculum from the Christian Magazine, Faithzine, combining Bible lessons with issues that face pre-teens and teens in today's society.
Adult Sunday School - meets in the Education Building classroom from 9:30-10:30. The classes have involved viewing Andy of Mayberry episodes and discussing moral issues that can be related to how we live as Christians. Lively discussions about issues are enjoyable and allow everybody to freely talk of their perspective.
Sunday Shool class and choir member, Jerry Warfield, was married this Spring. The class and choir both sponsored a special coffee-and-conversation after the worship service on March 29 to congratulate Jerry and her future husband, Jay...
