United Methodist Women at Wesley Grove |
The purpose of our Women's Ministry is to meet the needs of the women at Wesley Grove and within our community. To encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen friendships with other women, and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our community for Christ. We are a community of women who nurture and encourage one another in their spiritual growth, personal leadership and transformation. As a member, you accept the challenge to expand concepts of mission. At Wesley Grove, the UMW has two groups, the Daytime and Evening Circle.
Evening Circle at Wesley Grove
This group sponsors our Fall and Spring yard Sales, the late Fall Holiday Craft Bazaar and Luncheon, and coordinates monthly visits to some of our shut-ins or nursing home members.
Daytime Women at Wesley Grove
This group sponsors and coordinates the monthly "Ladies Lunch Out" fellowship on the third Wednesday of the month at 11:30. Also, they sponsor many bake sales throughout the year at various church functions.
Our UMW will once again be giving Christmas gifts to the Asbury Guild. Please have them in the box marked Asbury by December 6. Checks should be made payable to the Asbury Guild. Here is the list of requested gifts...
